Eligibility
The Club ABC Tours "eBlast Sweepstakes" is open to all Club ABC Tours' members and non-members. Being a Club member does not increase the chances of winning. The drawing is open to U.S. residents only. Entrants must be eighteen (18) years of age and older as of March 17, 2008. Employees of Club ABC Tours, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and immediate family members of such employees and persons living within the same household as such employees are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local laws apply.
To Enter
To enter the drawing, entrants must receive the Club ABC Tours' eBlast. There is no fee to subscribe to the eBlast. Current subscribers to the eBlast are automatically entered. The sweepstakes will commence at 12:00:01 am ET on March 18, 2008, and end at 11:59:59 pm ET on June 30, 2008.
There are three ways to enter:
Automatic Entry. All members of Club ABC Tours with an email address in their membership profile receive one automatic sweepstakes entry.
Members' Profile Entry. Current Club ABC Tours' members may update their profiles online to include an email address. Members can update their profile by going to the "Members Login" section of the Club ABC Tours' website at http://www.clubabc.com. Members may also call Club ABC Tours at 1-888-TOURS-ABC.
Online Entry for Non-Members. Non-members may enter their name, address, telephone number and email address online on Club ABC Tours' website. Becoming a Club member is not necessary to enter the Sweepstakes, just signing up for the eBlast.
Entries must be received by 11:59:59 pm ET on June 30, 2008. Your email address will only be used for Club ABC Tours and its affiliates. It will not be sold or otherwise provided to third parties.
Odds
The odds of winning the prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received.
Prize and Approx. Retail Value
One winner will receive two round-trip economy-class tickets to China on Air China. Based on availability. Blackout dates include June - August 2008. Additional blackout dates may apply. Tickets must be reserved at least 30 days prior to departure. Airline carrier's regulations and conditions apply. Persons eligible to use the tickets include the winner and one traveling companion. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2008. No substitution of prize is offered.
The winner also receives a one-year membership to Club ABC Tours for him/herself and his/her adult traveling companion, and the winner's dependent children under 18 years of age, if any, will receive annual memberships to Club ABC Tours valid through the calendar year in which they turn 18 years of age. Total Approx. Retail Value of Complete Prize: $2,500.
The prize is not transferable.
Travel must be completed by December 31, 2008, and certain restrictions and blackout dates apply. Tickets may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Winner and travel companion(s) must travel together on the same itinerary. The drawing winner and travel companion must possess valid travel documents (i.e., valid passport, valid photo ID, etc.) in order to travel. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed. All other expenses and costs, not expressly included in prize, including, but not limited to taxes, fuel surcharges, tips, entertainment, transfers, and transportation to airport to and from winner's home residence are the winner's sole responsibility.
Winner Selection
A random drawing will be conducted, to select one winner, on or about July 1, 2008.
All entrants acknowledge, as a condition of entry, that Club ABC Tours has a right to broadcast or otherwise publicize the winner's name/likeness.
Winner Notification
Winner will be notified by email. Potential Prize winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release, where legal, within 10 days of attempted notification, or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
General Rules
Winner agrees to hold sponsor, its respective officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims/liability arising out of use of prize. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused, by participation or use any of prize. Sponsors not responsible for typographical or other error in printing of the offer or administration of the sweepstakes or announcement of the prizes. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the sweepstakes or website; violates the Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges.
Winner is responsible for all applicable income taxes. Club ABC Tours will file the appropriate IRS 1099 form for the declared retail value of the tickets.
