JOB DESCRIPTION - CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

We have a great opportunity for an experienced travel professional with a customer service background. You will be handling a heavy phone volume and prioritizing multiple tasks.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of customer service experience, primarily in the travel industry.
  • Working knowledge of air and hotel reservations process.
  • Strong customer service, sales and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to change gears easily.
  • Detail orientation and ability to handle responsibilities proactively.
  • Must be articulate, sales oriented and have good writing skills.
  • Positive attitude and a "smiling voice".

JOB DESCRIPTION - SUPERVISOR OF MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in the daily operation of the call center and performs as a functioning member of the Member Services team approximately 50% of the time. Key supervisory responsibilities include running the day-to-day operations of the departments that service Club ABC, ABC Destinations and The Women’s’ Travel Club including staffing, training, coaching and mentoring Member Service Representatives. Additional responsibilities will include assisting in the development and implementation of incentive plans, ensuring schedule and shift adherence and making appropriate payroll edits to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of diversified travel company experience
  • Superior Organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
  • Superior problem solving skills and PC skills
  • Self-starter and high energy individual/div>
  • Good analytical skills with detail orientation
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both, verbally, and in writing
  • Strong customer service background, with the ability to effectively resolve conflicts
  • Strong sales orientation, with the ability to motivate sales staff
  • Ability to operate in a team environment
  • Good leadership skills to motivate and mentor a team of agents
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
