Club ABC Tours, a subsidiary of Crown Travel Service, Inc. is a private travel club located in Northern NJ that was founded more than three decades ago. Today, we are one of the largest travel clubs in the world, providing tour packages for individuals and families who travel frequently and appreciate travel value. JOB DESCRIPTION - CUSTOMER RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

This position requires a highly responsible and Customer service-oriented professional to handle the company’s client correspondence and achieve a satisfactory resolution for the company as well as the traveler. The incumbent must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to exercise good judgment and excel in a fast paced, team-oriented environment as well as demonstrate initiative in their job.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the Travel Industry, College degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently and problem solve using the best alternative for the member and the company.
  • Effective business oriented verbal and written communication skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION - STAFF DEVELOPER/ANALYST

The Staff Developer/Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Club ABC Tours and affiliated websites and support the company with development projects, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities:  

  • Manage, maintain and improve performance of multiple travel website including Club ABC Tours, ABC Destinations and Women’s Travel Club, including content and usability.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team and business stakeholders to improve web site presentation and usage.
  • Assist in development of new content areas of the website including graphics and page set-up.
  • Follows tasks through a development life cycle (coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing, deploying, monitoring, support) in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards.
  • Contribute to task identification, work effort estimates, and work schedules for development and maintenance activities.
  • Participates in the analysis definition and scoping of efficient application solutions Work closely with stakeholders including maintaining development list and communicating specifications for new functionality and features.
  • Test and approve new development functionality and maintenance updates/requests from development team.
  • Perform hands-on support for the website servers and equipment including performing preventative maintenance as needed.
  • Trouble-shoot website and development help desk cases.
  • Other ad-hoc marketing and development initiatives as assigned. 
  • Assist IT staff as needed.
  • Create tools for data segmentation, sales analysis and other reports.


Qualifications:
Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience developing Web sites for business purposes.
  • 2+ years experience in application development.
  • 2+ years experience in databases.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft based development technologies.
  • Thorough understanding of the web and web browsers, their capabilities and their limitations.
  • Thorough knowledge of HTML Web technologies and applications.
  • Knowledge of software such as: Director, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ImageReady, Javascript, Shockwave, and Macromedia Flash.
  • Knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, XML/XSLT.
  • Strong skills required in critical thinking and analysis.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to details, a must. Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
  • Development experience with SQL, content automation and source control a plus.
  • Experience using a content management system
  • Ability to work well in a support role with a wide variety of user competency levels
  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Highly self motivated and directed
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
