CLUB ABC TOURS APPOINTS RAY HOURANI VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

BLOOMFIELD, N.J., -- Club ABC Tours, one of the leading travel clubs in the United States, has appointed Ray Hourani to the post of Vice President of Product Development. His duties at Club ABC Tours include overseeing the Product Development team in the formulation of the travel club’s itineraries from the negotiation process to the evaluation of the products’ performance. The assignment covers the entire group of very diverse travel products marketed by Club ABC Tours and ABC Destinations. Hourani will also serve as Product Director in charge of Mexico, the Caribbean, North America and Cruises.

A veteran of the travel industry with strategic sales, marketing and product development experience that spans three decades, Ray Hourani began his career at Pan American World Airways in New York. He went on to serve in senior management positions in several leading US-based travel wholesale and Travel Management companies. He has a solid record of developing successful marketing strategies, effective negotiating skills, experience in private label marketing, and close oversight of planning, forecasting and budget management. His most recent assignments were with Lyon Travel in Brattleboro, VT, and Grand Circle Travel Corp. in Boston, MA where he introduced new work patterns lowering overtime costs, revised new employee training programs, increased Business Class sales, increased profit margins and significantly reduced operating costs.

Ray Hourani takes over as Club ABC Tours’ Vice President of Product Development from Bill Silvermintz, who has been appointed to the position of Vice President, Marketing.
