Itinerary
- Day 1 - Depart the U.S. for Ireland.
- Day 2 - Dublin: Arrive at Dublin Airport, proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs board your luxury motor coach with your local driver/guide. Travel along North County Dublin enjoying tea and scones and a visit to Malahide Castle. Enjoy the North Dublin Coastline before going to Dublin City - (rooms not ready until between 12:00-2:00). Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Dublin. (Tea/Coffee & scones on arrival, Dinner)
- Day 3 - Dublin: This morning, after a hearty Irish breakfast, your driver and a local City guide will pick you up at your accommodation and you will begin your Dublin city tour. You will visit St. Patrick's Cathedral. This evening you are at leisure around Dublin city. (Breakfast)
- Day 4 - Dublin: After breakfast, you will tour the Wicklow Mountains with a visit to the monastic site at Glendalough and Powerscourt Estate. This evening is free in Dublin. (Breakfast)
- Day 5 - Dublin/Roscommon or Leitrim: Travel west to Mullingar where you will visit Belvedere House. This lovely house tells a story of two brothers' rivalry. Proceed north to Carrick on Shannon where you will take a trip on the River Shannon. Proceed to Kilronan Castle/Lough Rynn for dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 6 - Roscommon or Leitrim/Westport: Travel through Sligo Countryside where we will visit the Ceide Fields. Proceed through the Mayo Countryside to do the Atlantic Drive on Achill Island. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Westport. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 7 - Westport/Galway: Travel South by the base of Croagh Patrick before continuing via Leenane to Kylemore Abbey for a visit. Continue through Connemara to Galway. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 8 - Galway: Today, you will travel west to Rossaveal in the heart of the Gaeltacht area (traditional Irish speaking area), and take the ferry to Inis Mor, which is the largest of the Aran Islands. Here the traditional way of Irish life is preserved, and the Irish language is still spoken. You will have a mini bus tour of the Island and time to visit the fort or Dun Aengus. The Ferry returns to the mainland at 5:00pm, arriving back in Galway at 6:00pm. Tonight enjoy a special banquet dinner at Dunguaire Castle. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 9 - Galway/Killarney: After a full Irish breakfast this morning, travel from Galway through the Burren, Cliffs of Moher and on to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Continue via Adare and on to Killarney. Dinner and overnight are at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 10 - Killarney: Today visit Muckross House and Gardens allowing time to explore the beauty of Co. Kerry with the Mini Ring of Kerry. Depart from Killarney via Kilgarvan to the market town of Kenmare - allowing free time in the town. After lunch drive through Molls Gap. Descending into Killarney, you have a lovely view of the 3 Lakes of Killarney from 'Ladies View'. This evening you will be free to explore the town and sample the many fine restaurants and pubs in Killarney for yourself. (Breakfast)
- Day 11 - Killarney: The Dingle Peninsula also preserves an unequalled series of Early Christian monuments. See Gallarus Oratory, one of the most perfect relics of early Irish Christianity probably constructed around the year 800. View Kilmalkedar where there is an interesting 12th century church consisting of a roofless nave with a good doorway and ornamented arch. Return to Killarney for overnight at your hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 12 - Killarney/U.S: This morning transfer to Shannon airport (approximately 2 hour drive) for your return flight home. (Breakfast)
