Itinerary
Summer 2009 Itinerary:
- Day 1 -Depart the U.S. for Italy.
- Day 2 - Pisa or Florence/Montecatini: Upon arrival, proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs you will be met by the Club ABC Tours representative. Transfer to your hotel. For centuries, Montecatini has been an exclusive world-renowned spa resort, famed for its spring waters, thermal baths and numerous spa treatments. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Dinner)
- Day 3 - Montecatini/Vinci/Chianti/Montecatini: After breakfast depart for Vinci and the Chianti region. The beauty of this territory, known for its wineries, lies in the perfect equilibrium between the soft forms of slopes and the thousand nuances of color and the crowded woods populated by ancient castles, secular parishes and beautiful villas. Enjoy a wine tasting followed by a light lunch. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
- Day 4 - Montecatini/Siena/San Gimignano/Montecatini: After breakfast, depart for your full-day excursion to two of Tuscany's true gems: Siena and San Gimignano. Set in the most beautiful Tuscan countryside of rolling hills, lush vines and gray-green olive trees, Siena offers much to see, from the fine palaces that line the narrow cobbled streets and the superb Duomo, to the celebrated Piazza del Campo where the famed Palio horserace is run yearly. Continue to San Gimignano, a town of Etruscan origin. Built by noble families, the fourteen remaining towers that lined the ramparts look like medieval skyscraper. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. - Day 5 - Montecatini: Today enjoy a full day at leisure. Spend time exploring Montecatini, enjoy a spa treatment, or just relax. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 6 - Montecatini/Florence/Montecatini: This morning after breakfast depart for a full day excursion to Florence, the Cradle of Renaissance. Its striking buildings, formidable galleries and treasure-crammed churches attest to the Florentine love of display. Its elegant appearance the skyline, with its russet rooftops and lofty domes, contributed to give this city its role of important center for culture and arts. See the Cathedral, whose gigantic "cupola" is the symbol of Florence's artistic achievements, the Baptistery with its fine bronze doors adorned with the famous gates of Paradise, and Piazza della Signoria. Visit the San Lorenzo market and the jewelry laboratories on the famed Ponte Vecchio. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 7 - Montecatini/Cinque Terre/Montecatini: After breakfast, early in the morning, depart for La Spezia, a coastal town east of Montecatini, along the Mediterranean Sea. Take a ferryboat to The Cinque Terre (weather permitting), one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria Region. Here, five small villages are suspended between sea and earth, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea and green hills. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 8 - Montecatini: Today enjoy a full day at leisure. Spend time exploring Montecatini, enjoy a spa treatment, or just relax. Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 9 - Montecatini/Pisa or Florence/U.S.: After breakfast transfer to Florence or Pisa the airport for your return flight to the U.S. (Breakfast)

Winter November 2009-March 2010 Itinerary:
- Day 1 - New York/JFK/Pisa: Flight from JFK for Pisa, Italy with Delta Airlines.
- Day 2 - Montecatini: Upon arrival, proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs you will be met by the Club ABC Tours representative and transfer to your hotel. For centuries, Montecatini has been an exclusive world-renowned spa resort, famed for its spring waters, thermal baths and numerous spa treatments. Have a Welcome Cocktail and briefing at 7.00pm at the hotel. Dinner is at the hotel. (Dinner)
- Day 3 - Montecatini/Lucca/Montecatini: Breakfast is from 7:30-8:45am. Depart at 9:00am - Return to the hotel around 4:00pm.
After breakfast, depart for the medieval town of Lucca a rich heritage of churches, palaces and squares. Lucca is well known for its magnificent 16th and 17th century ramparts, having remained intact, encircling its narrow streets, which are lined with many medieval buildings. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure. (All entrances not included) Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 4 - Montecatini/Chianti & Wine Tasting/Montecatini: Breakfast is from 7:30-8:30am - Depart: 8:45am - Return to hotel around 6:00pm.
After breakfast at the hotel you will start to full day tour of Chianti Region. The beauty of this territory, known for its wineries, lies in the perfect equilibrium between the soft forms of slopes and the thousand nuances of color and the crowded woods populated by ancient castles, secular parishes and beautiful villas. You will visit Greve in Chianti. You will have wine tasting & Light lunch at Verrazzano. Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Light Lunch with wine tasting, Dinner)
- Day 5 - Montecatini/Pisa/Montecatini: Breakfast is from 7:30-8:45am - Depart: 9:00am - Return to the hotel around 4:00pm.
After breakfast, depart to Pisa to see its incredible Leaning Tower (from outside), the bell tower of the 900-year-old Cathedral of Pisa. Its 14 feet off center at the top because of settling after construction was started in 1173. Your visit of Pisa will also include a sightseeing tour of Pisa's Campo dei Miracoli, or Field of Miracle, to see the Baptistery, Duomo; all fine examples of the Pisan-Romanesque architectural style. - Day 6 - Montecatini/Florence/Montecatini: Breakfast is from 7:30-8:30am - Depart: 8:45am - Return to the hotel around 6:00pm.
