Itinerary
A valid passport is required for U.S citizens. A Brazil Visa is required and must be obtained prior to departure from the U.S. Also, U.S. and Canadian tourists will have to pay a reciprocity fee upon arrival at the Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires: $140 for U.S. citizens, and $70 for Canadian citizens.

- Day 1 - Depart the U.S. for Argentina.
- Day 2 - Buenos Aires, Argentina: Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs, meet your local Tour Host. Stop at Café Tortoni for a light breakfast, then continue to the hotel for check-in. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. Tonight a welcome dinner is included at a local restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. (Breakfast-includes coffee, tea, orange juice & croissants; Dinner)
- Day 3 - Buenos Aires: Today you will get acquainted with Buenos Aires during a tour highlighting the city's major neighborhoods and attractions. Buenos Aires, popularly known as "Paris of South America", has a distinctive European flavour of wide boulevards and stunning architecture; this complex, energetic and seductive port city has been the gateway to Argentina for centuries. In the 19th century, the port was the arrival point for Europeans including Spanish, Italian, Syrian-Lebanese, Polish and Russian immigrants who provided Buenos Aires with the cultural eclecticism that defines the city today. Tonight enjoy dinner and a Tango Show at La Ventana restaurant. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 4 - Buenos Aires: Today, sail the Rio de la Plata and arrive in Colonia. Enjoy lunch at Meson de la Plaza. Take an afternoon city tour in the historical neighborhood with its museums and picturesque streets. Enjoy some time at leisure to visit the streets of Santa Rita, San Gabriel, the Matriz church, San Pedro road, the Bastion del Carmen and the famous Calle de los Suspiros (Street of Sighs). Return to Buenos Aires for your overnight. (Breakfast)
NOTE: This tour is only included for 2010 departures. For 2011, Day 4 will be at leisure and this tour will be available as an Optional Tour.
- Day 5 - Buenos Aires/Iguazu: After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazú Falls. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The spectacular Iguazú Falls are one of the world's most beautiful natural wonders, set on a bend in the Iguazú River on the borders of Argentina and Brazil, and designated a Natural World Heritage site by UNESCO. There are a total of 275 falls forming a gigantic semi-circle 8,100 feet long, with millions of gallons of thundering water plunging to depths 250 feet below. The Falls are surrounded by a National Park containing the world's largest pluvial forest, home to 12 species of amphibians, 18 species of fish, 40 species of mammals, including the jaguar, ocelot, capybara and giant river otter, 60 different reptiles, 340 bird species, and 700 unique species of fluttering butterflies. The incredibly varied fauna and flora of Iguazú lend the awe-inspiring waterfalls a pristine setting within the protection of the Iguazú National Park. Tonight enjoy dinner at the hotel. - Day 6 - Iguazú Falls: Today visit the Argentine side of the Falls. Get close to one of the natural wonders of the world. Sightseeing includes a walking tour to the falls; see the Falls up close from a catwalk and take the ecological train inside the park to "Devil's Throat". This afternoon, visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls. (Breakfast)
- Day 7 - Iguazú Falls/Rio de Janeiro: After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio. Arrive in Rio and transfer to your hotel. Rio boasts of lush greenery sharply contrasting with the thousands of modern buildings within this bustling metropolis. Few cities in the world offer the year-round lively nightlife and cultural activities that Rio offer. En route to the hotel, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the old and modern city. Highlights include the Opera House, Carioca Square, church of Santo Antonio, the Petrobas building, and the aqueduct. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 8 - Rio de Janeiro: After breakfast, take a sightseeing Jeep Tour, which includes a visit to the world famous Corcovado Statue and Santa Teresa district. Christ the Redeemer stands 38 meters high and 710 meters above the city. From the Corcovado hill, together with Dona Marta Belvedere, is a mandatory tour in Rio for the beauty of the sightseeing from both locations. From the Corcovado, we can see the beaches of Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and Botanical Garden. From the Dona Marta Belvedere, the main attractions are the Maracanã Stadium, the Guanabara Bay and the Sugar Loaf. The tour will proceed to Santa Teresa, a traditional district with a mild climate and big houses from the beginning of the century, built mainly by English railroad managers. In our days, it became an art center with lots of craftsmanship galleries and the only district in Rio where we can find the trolley car. (Breakfast) Please note that the Christ statue, the important symbol of the city, is actually being restored with no deadline to finish but continues with open arms to welcome all visitors!
- Day 9 - Rio de Janeiro: Today, a half-day Sugar Loaf tour is scheduled. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore on your own or pre-purchase an optional tour. (Breakfast)

- Day 10 - Rio de Janeiro/U.S.: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time to explore on your own or do some last minute shopping. Early this evening, transfer to the airport in for your overnight flight back to the U.S. (Breakfast)
- Day 11 - U.S.: Arrive in New York this morning.
