Itinerary
- Day 1 -Depart New York (JFK).
- Day 2 - Venice: Arrive in Venice and transfer by boat to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure exploring one of Europe's most romantic cities. Venice is a magical tapestry of Renaissance buildings perched on narrow canals with sleek gondolas gliding silently beneath ornate bridges that will leave your breathless. Overnight at the hotel in Venice.
- Day 3 - Venice: Today is free to once again, explore this wonderful city on your own. Visit Piazza San Marco and the Grand Rialto Bridge. There's plenty of time to visit Doge's Palace and Giotto's Bell Tower; St. Marks Basilica, a marble and golden fantasy and one to the most gorgeous containers ever built to display the relics of a saint. Overnight at the hotel in Venice. (Breakfast)
- Day 4 - Venice/Stresa: Journey from Venice to Stresa by motor coach. Arrive in Stresa, where the lake front delineated with lines of palm trees and the flourishing gardens, offers a beautiful sight. Emerging from the waters are the spectacular Borromean Islands (Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori). Tonight dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 5 - Stresa: Explore on your own today or take an optional tour to the Borromean Islands; Isola Bella, and visit the 17th Century Palace; Isola Pescatori, the first island to be inhabited; Isola dei Pescatori (also known as Isola Superiore), a quaint fishing village. Dinner is at the hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 6 - Stresa: Today is free for you to enjoy all that surrounds you. Perhaps visit Lake Orta, one of the smallest Italian lakes. You can visit Villa Taranto and its famous gardens, and then take a cable car on Mottarone for a breathtaking panoramic view or visit Lake Como, the third largest Italian lake, set entirely in Lombardy. Dinner is at the hotel. Overnight in Stresa. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 7 - Stresa: Take advantage of today by shopping, sightseeing or just relaxing by the lake. Enjoy your last dinner at the hotel this evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Day 8 - Stresa/Milan/U.S.: After breakfast, depart for the airport in Milan for your return flight home. (Breakfast)
