• Day 1 Depart New York (JFK).
• Days 2-3-4 Arrive in Beijing, capital city of China. Beijing is China’s cultural and political center, as well as home to many fascinating sights located in or near the city. No visit would be complete without an excursion to see the magnificent Great Wall, truly one of the greatest feats of human engineering. Sightseeing highlights also include the Ming Tombs and the incomparable Forbidden City, architecturally stunning and housing many great treasures; the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace, and enormous Tian’anmen Square.
• Days 5-6 Fly to Xi’an, ancient capital of China for 11 dynasties and starting point of the famed Silk Road. It is here you will see the amazing underground tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang; guarded by more than 7,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and horses, the tomb is one of the world’s greatest archaeological treasures.
• Days 7-8 Fly to Shanghai, China’s largest city. Sightseeing includes visits to Shanghai’s famous waterfront Bund area to see the many stately buildings of European architecture, beautiful Yu Yuan Garden with its many halls and pavilions, and a visit to the Shanghai Museum.
• Day 9 Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
