10. Don’t panic. Let the airline personnel do their job and assist you.
9. If you’re delayed coming into the New York City area to pickup your Club ABC trip, call1-866-TOUR-ABC and let us know. A Club ABC Tours rep will try to help you make your flight or catch up to the tour.
8. If you’re traveling on one of our many trips, there often is a Club ABC Tours representative at the airport to help sort things out when you get there.
7. Even if you know your flight is delayed don’t assume you can arrive late, the carrier needs ample time to book you on another flight to get you to your destination on time.
6. Stay in the area. You may be told the issue will be resolved in two hours, but if it happens sooner, the airline will pack up and go.
5. If you’ve taken the Club ABC Tours travel protection plan, turn to One Call for assistance. The reps from One Call have access to many airlines and may be able to reroute you to your destination. Call 800-555-9095 in the US, or One Call collect at 603-894-4710 outside the US.
4. If you’re delayed more than 12 hours, your travel insurance is there to help you with most purchases you need. Call the Trip Mate claim number 800-888-7292 to find out how to submit your receipts to the insurance company when you get home.
3. If your bags don’t arrive with you and you have insurance, you can purchase incidentals to tie you over until your baggage arrives. File a report with the airline and present copies of your receipts and a claim form to the insurance company upon your return.
2. If you’re taking a cruise, take a flight the day prior so if there are weather delays, they won’t affect you.
