TOKYO

Tokyo Morning tour: $49 per person (not available Dec 27-Jan 4)
First, enjoy a panoramic view of Tokyo from the observation deck of Tokyo Tower, and then take a stroll around the Imperial Palace Plaza, where you can savor the splendid view of the moats and walls around the seat of Japan’s imperial household. The tour then takes you through Akihabara, the electronic goods capital of Japan, and Ueno, famous for its park and street market, on the way to Asakusa. In Asakusa you can browse the many colorful stores lining the Nakamise walkway leading up to Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most famous Buddhist temple. The tour then takes you through Ginza, Japan's world-renowned shopping and entertainment district before visiting the Tasaki Pearl Gallery.

Dynamic Tokyo Full Day with lunch: $118 per person (available Dec 27-Jan 4, Feb 22 & Mar 22)
Enjoy a panoramic view of the city from Tokyo Tower before participating in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony at Happo-en Japanese gardens. Savor lunch at the beautiful former manor, the Chinzanso restaurant, then take a stroll along the moat surrounding the Imperial Palace Plaza. Board a cruise at Hinode Pier for a 40-minute trip up the Sumida River to Asakusa. Browse the many colorful stores lining the Nakamise walkway leading up to Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's oldest and most famous Buddhist temple, before passing through Ginza, Japan's world-renowned shopping and entertainment district.

On this day trip to Nikko, one of Japan’s most beautiful regions, visit Nikko Toshogu Shrine, dedicated to the first shogun of the Tokugawa era and famous for its carving of the “hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil” monkeys. Travel up Irohazaka to Lake Chuzenji and marvel at Kegonnotaki Waterfall, considered one of the three most beautiful waterfalls in Japan.

Our No. 1 most popular one-day tour! Leaving from Tokyo, this tour takes you up to Mt. Fuji's fifth station to enjoy the view from 2,300 meters above sea level. After this, participants will take in Hakone’s beautiful natural scenery with a pleasure boat cruise around Lake Ashino and a ride on the Komagatake Ropeway. The return trip to Tokyo will be by bullet train. A pick up/drop off service to Tokyo's major hotels and a Japanese-style lunch is included.

Kamakura Walking Full Day with lunch: $70 per person
Visit the most typical places on the island: the cliffs of Los Gigantes, the spectacular view of Garachico, Icod de los Vinos and the famous Drago-tree. Pass through Puerto de la Cruz on the way back to the south by motorway, and stop in the village of Candelaria.

KYOTO

Kyoto Morning tour: $55 per person (Daily except Dec 30-Jan 4)
Start the day off with a train ride from Osaka to Kyoto, Japan's capital from 794 to 1868. Visit Nijo Castle, the residence of the Tokugawa era shoguns, and marvel at the gold-leaf covered Golden Pavilion, which houses sacred relics of Buddha. Take a stroll around the Golden Pavilion's garden, renowned for its exquisite beauty. Take a walk through Kyoto Imperial Palace before watching craftsmen work their trade at the Kyoto Handicraft Center, where you can purchase locally-made items.

Kyoto 1-Day tour with lunch: $114 per person (daily except Dec 30-Jan 4)
Experience Kyoto, Japan's capital from 794-1868. Travel from Kyoto to Nara by bus, where you can visit Todaiji, the largest wooden structure in the world and home of the Great Buddha, the largest Buddha statue in Japan. Mingle with the many deer at Nara Park, then proceed to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Nara’s most famous shrine

Osaka 1-day Walking tour: $147 per person (Jan 9-Dec 26; Tue,Thur,Sat,Sun)
See Osaka, the commercial center of western Japan! Get a grand view of Osaka from the Aerial Garden Observatory on the 40th floor, and visit Osaka Castle and its museum of the castle’s history, which also documents Osaka’s attempt to become Japan’s capital before it was moved to Tokyo. From there, take a riverboat cruise for another breathtaking view of the city.
