• Day 1 - Depart U.S. for Sweden.
• Day 2 - Stockholm, Sweden: Upon arrival in Stockholm, proceed to baggage claim and after clearing customs, you will be met by a Club ABC Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Built on 14 islands around one of Europe's largest and best-preserved medieval city centers, Stockholm boasts stunning scenery in every direction with beautiful Lake Mälaren in the west and to the east the magnificent Stockholm archipelago of more than 24,000 islands, islets and skerries. Enjoy a city sightseeing tour introducing you to the sights of Sweden's capital city, a blend of traditional and contemporary, urban and pastoral, all within walking distance of the city center. Tour the famous City Hall, with its elegant Golden Hall, site of the Nobel Prize Banquet. Stroll through the Old Town with its cobblestone streets and medieval buildings and the 13th century Cathedral. Walk past the Royal Palace and the Stock Exchange before joining the coach to go to the Southern Island for a splendid view over the city and the harbor. The afternoon is at your leisure. Optional tours are available at your hotel. Lunch and dinner are on your own.
• Days 3 & 4 - Stockholm: Enjoy these days at leisure to explore Stockholm on your own or join one of the optional tours available. You might visit the restored warship at the Vasa Museum, the recently re-opened Moderna Museet with its impressive 20th century art collection or the Museum of Medieval History, an underground museum illustrating the medieval origins and expansion of Stockholm. Sweden is world-renowned for its modern design. Here you can find high-quality china, handicrafts, crystal, jewelry, silver, fine glassware, furniture and more. If you love Swedish cuisine, visit the Swedish Bookshop, across from the Royal Palace on Slottsbacken where you'll find a great collection of Scandinavian recipe cookbooks in English, German, French and Spanish. • Day 5 - Stockholm/U.S.: After breakfast transfer to the airport for your return flight. (Breakfast)
